Vodka is a universal drink, and one that can be all things to all people. Nevertheless, despite its great variety, most drinkers use it merely as a neutral spirit, useful as a base for mixers, and valuable not only because of its lack of taste, but also because it is such a pure form of alcohol

Yet vodka is so much more than this; it is deeply embedded in the hearts and souls of the peoples of Poland, Russia, Scandinavia and the Baltic States. They have each developed their own, infinitely characterful vodkas, not for an inexpensive road to alcoholic oblivion but as an inherent part of social life, to be sipped lovingly with the appropriate foods.

At Vodka Wodka we would seek to introduce the subtle pleasures of the world's classic vodkas to the uninitiated, and perhaps bring a little of the history and character that shaped these vodkas to the heart of Glasgow's West End.
